Salam!

I'm Omar, a Jordanian-Palestinian graphic designer and artist currently based in Duluth, Minnesota.

I'm deeply interested in the sociopolitical and emotional elements of design and art, especially the ways in which they relate to the lived experiences and culture(s) of the Global South. Through illustration, typography, or animation, I often integrate elements of community, storytelling, and history into my work, whether its corporate or social movement-oriented. Ultimately, I aim to make art that's interesting enough to make people think, and if I'm lucky, to bring people together! 

In my free time, you'll find me reading, listening to music, organizing community events or hanging out with friends (and my cat) :)
